Updated: Fintech events 2024 edition.
When I first wrote this piece back in 2022, we were rolling out of lockdowns and excited to get stuck into in-person conferences. Since then, it seems like conferences for financial services firms have been popping up everywhere.
In this article, you’ll find a round-up of some of 2024’s best fintech meetup and networking events coming up around the world.

Notable fintech groups with regular networking events in 2024:

Berlin Finance Initiative
Money 20/20
The unique thing about Money 2020 is that it offers three different conferences in three different continents. Money 2020 Asia, Europe and America each follow the same principles, but you’ll probably end up meeting totally different people. Technically, that means you could see the value in going to all three events.
This years European fintech event is in Amsterdam over the 4th-6th of June. Expect keynote speeches from a former French president (!), leader of Deutsche Bank, President of RIPPLE and more.
And with over 8,500 attendees, you’ll probably be able to accelerate some deals while you’re there! Tickets start from €3,395, and here’s the website if you’re interested.
Fintech Connect
Fintech Connect provides a platform for thought leadership and the sharing of ideas as it aims to bring together leaders from across the industry. This conference will be in its 11th year in 2024, so it’s a veteran of the trade. The conference boasts the chance to network with high-level executives for the chance to get first dibs on brand new financial technology products.
Fintech Connect 2024 will be held in the ExCel centre in London and bonus: it’s free for financial institutions. If you’re interested in attending from December the 4th-5th, click here.
Finovate
Holding networking events since 2007, Finovate is certainly one of the most established facilitators on this list. And like Money 2020, they offer conferences in Europe and the United States, as well as an online event each year.
They specialise in bringing together the “coolest” companies in Fintech and creating a high-impact environment. As a fintech / regtech content agency, we’re keen to check this one out! Past attendees have rated the event very highly, with the 2024 line-up even offering an interactive game show.
Finovate Europe 2024 was held in London during Feb 26th to 28th. However, those based in the US have the pick between events in San Francisco and New York throughout the year. With tickets starting from £1699, you can buy them here.
Fintech World Forum
The 2024 Fintech World Forum will be held in London on the 20th and 21st of June. The event continually boasts speakers from high profile backgrounds like Allicia Bank, Onfido and IBM, and has a reputation for being one of the leading Fintech events to attend.
This year’s agenda is quite exciting, with panels from niche topics like the supply chain in India, to broader cybersecurity in fintech talks. Prices start from £495, and you can register your attendance here.
MoneyLIVE Summit
MoneyLIVE is an intimate bank-focused conference with 500 attendees; over 60% of which are c-suite decision makers and industry leaders for their companies. It’s attended by payments facilitators, regulators, credit unions and bigtech, alongside traditional and digital banking companies.
While we’ve missed the European MoneyLIVE Summit, there’s still a chance to attend this year. The Chicago summit is taking place on the 16th and 17th of September, and has been described as “the most influential banking and payments event”.
Tickets start at £949 and you can buy them here.
UKFintech Week 2024
UK Fintech week takes place across the 10th-14th of June in 2024, with the flagship conference happening on the 13th in London. The event aims to connect traditional incumbents with digital providers, to progress the financial sector as a whole.
There are over 1,000 attendees across the UKFintech week events, and over 100 different speaking events. Again from our perspective doing fintech SEO content, this looks like one of the most enticing fintech festivals to attend. The 2024 conference will focus on using fintech for good, insurtech and of course, AI. To buy your tickets, which cost £625, click here.
IFGS (Innovate Finance 2024)
IFGS took place on the 15th and 16th of April in 2024, and proved to be a brilliant 10th year of the conference. The key themes for this year included the next decade of innovation, fintech beyond borders, and the shifting ecosystem.
Innovate Finance 2024 saw speakers from Robinhood, Zilch and GoHenry, to name a few. Keep your eye out for next year’s conference to secure tickets.
Paris Blockchain Week
A whole week dedicated to the blockchain? Hell yeah. With the crypto bull run, this year’s event saw more attendees (and interest) than ever before, taking place across 8th-11th of April.
The key themes of the 2024 conference included web3 from a corporate lens, public policy and tech builders like AI; three of the most-discussed topics in the last year. It’s fair to say then, that this conference takes trending topics to a new level.
Again, while you might have missed the chance to attend this year, stay alert for the announcement of next year’s Paris Blockchain Week.
Pay360 Conference
It seemed like everyone and their mother was at the Pay360 conference. Like, all of my clients (and several prospects I was organising meetings with). If that doesn’t scream well-respected, great value and must-attend, I don’t know what does.
The Pay360 conference 2024 happened earlier this year, but luckily for you, the organisers are already promoting next year’s conference. It’ll take place across March 25th and 26th at London’s ExCel centre.
With over 4,000 attendees at the last conference, you can be sure that this place is a hub for networking, and focuses on bringing together the disagreeable to spark interesting debates. Even better, it’s free to attend (we’re just waiting for them to release the tickets).
Other fintech networking opportunities in 2024
As mentioned earlier, there are also some notable fintech groups which you can join. These membership-style groups offer regular networking opportunities, from roundtables to dinners and more. We’ll let you figure out if they’re a good fit for your business:

Why attend a Fintech Conference?
Fintech conferences have a bit of a reputation for being a complete waste of time. But in actual fact, the experience is quite the opposite. Fintech networking events are exciting, dramatic and interactive. Not only are these conferences a great way to engage fellow fintech nerds, but they can also help you get ahead in the industry.
In my humble opinion, attending at least one annual fintech conference is essential for business growth if you have anything to do with financial technology. Making industry connections is key to advancing your reputation, generating leads and creating new channels of income. They can also humanize your brand, allowing fellow professionals to finally “put a face to the name”!
